Back to Boston
Boston is a place that has really grown on me. My mama moved here during my sophomore year of college and being from Savannah, calling Boston “home” was a stretch. But, after years of visiting this unfamiliar land, I have finally fallen in love with its Old English aesthetic and unique culture.
The Boston Commons was magically lit for the season. The beautiful park took a romantic twist for the holidays that pulled you into the spirit to celebrate with your loved ones.
The landscape during the brisk winter nights took your breath away (along with the robust winds), and forced you to fall in love with its charm and scenery.
Of course I couldn't leave without having sea food from my favorite hole in the wall in Boston, The Galway House in Jamaica. This hidden treasure is my go-to spot for seafood at a great price. The small pub houses many locals during every sport event and the staff is always a joy.
This trip to Boston was so chill and relaxing, and even though I didn't get to explore the city as much as usual, it still made tremendous strides in becoming a place I ultimately love.
